Sobota, 22. november ob 18.00 // vstop prost // Dolžina: 79 min

stoptrik etuda&animaMednarodni filmski festival Etiuda&Anima, eden najpomembnejših poljskih festivalov umetniške animacije, vsako leto konec novembra zbere občudovalce animiranega filma. Japonski Futon (Srebrni Jabberwocky) in francoski Palmipedarium (Bronasti Jabberwocky) operirata s stilistiko nadnaravnega in pretiravanja. V Franciji nastal Vzpon (Ascencion) (posebni Zlati Jabberwocky) je računalniško animirana ikonoklastična šala. Madžarski Zajec in jelen (Rabbit and Deer) (posebna pohvala in nagrada občinstva) je šaljiva refleksija o naravi prostora, prijateljstva in animacijskih tehnik. Kanadski Moje malo podzemlje (My Little Underground) (posebna pohvala) je temačna, a lepa avtobiografska zgodba o dekletovem potovanju z avtobusom, medtem ko je ruska Rana (The Wound) (nagrada umetniške vodje festivala) prefinjena metafora napetosti in frustracij, ki spremljajo človekovo življenje.

PROGRAM

Oče (Father)
r: Ivan Bogdanov, Moritz Mayerhofer, Asparuh Petrov// 2012// Hrvaška, Bolgarija, Nemčija// 16’30’’
Kdaj ste nazadnje govorili s svojim očetom?

Futon
r: Yoriko Mizushiri// 2012// Japonska// 6’
Futon, tradicionalna japonska vzmetnica, v viziji Yoriko Mizushiri postane vozilo sanjskih fantazij, ki združuje najprijetnejše občutke kot npr. jutranja kava, topla posteljnina in mehka riževa preproga pod nogami.

Palmipedarium

Vzpon (Ascension)
r: Thomas Bourdis, Martin de Coudenhove, Caroline Domergue, Colin Laubry, Florian Vecchione// 2013// Francija// 6’50’’

Zajec in jelen (Rabbit and Deer)

Moje malo podzemlje (My Little Underground)
r: Elise Simard// 2012// Kanada// 6’43’’
V tem kratkem avtobiografskem animiranem filmu Elise Simard pripoveduje zgodbo deklice v iskanju samoodkrivanja in ponovnega rojstva.

Rana (The Wound / Obida)
r: Anna Budanova// 2013// Rusija// 9’
Deklica utrpi čustvene poškodbe. V njeni domišljiji njena rana oživi in v svoji novi podobi – kot dlakav stvor – postane njen najboljši prijatelj. Skupaj odrasteta.

Etiuda&Anima IFF, one of the most important festivals of artistic animation in Poland, every year gathers admirers of animated cinema in late November. As the 21st edition of this prestigious event takes place between 21st and 27th November, let us virtually join the festival and cherish in Maribor the winners and laureates of Golden, Silver and Bronze Jabberwocky of 2013. Since the beginning of its existence StopTrik IFF is a partner festival of Etiuda&Anima. Through direct collaboration and programme exchange we have frequently presented superb films recognized by Etiuda&Anima jurors. An unusual, collective project that combines animation with documentary, Father (Croatian-Bulgarian-German coproduction) was awarded with Grand Prix 2013. Japanese Futon (Silver Jabberwocky) and French Palmipedarium (Bronze Jabberwocky) operate on stylistics of surreal and exaggeration. Ascencion (Special Golden Jabberwocky) produced in France is a CGI iconoclastic joke. Hungarian Rabbit and Deer (Honorable Mention; Audience Award) in a humorous manner reflects over nature of the space, friendship and animation techniques. Ab Ovo (Honorable Mention) that was a greatest international success of Polish animation in 2013 (award for the best student film in Annecy) seems as poetic view on motherhood. My Little Underground (Honorable Mention) from Canada, is a dark yet beautiful autobiographical story about a girl’s journey by bus while Russian Bitterness (Award of Festival’s Artistic Director) is a sophisticated metaphor of the tensions and frustrations that accompany one’s life.
